KanoonHub is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require user registration or store personal information on our servers. Data we process includes:

• Anonymous analytics data via PostHog (page views, feature usage)
• Search queries submitted to our AI features (processed server-side, not stored)
• Bookmarks, recently viewed sections, and theme preferences (stored locally in your browser via localStorage)

How We Use Information

• Improve content quality and relevance
• Enhance AI chatbot and search responses
• Understand which features are most useful
• Monitor site performance and fix issues

Third-Party Services

• PostHog — anonymous analytics (no personal data shared)
• Google Gemini AI — powers search and chat features (queries processed server-side via API, not shared with third parties)
• Adsterra — advertising network (may use cookies per their own policy)
• Vercel — hosting provider

Cookies & Local Storage

KanoonHub uses browser localStorage (not cookies) for: theme preference (dark/light), language preference (English/Hindi), bookmarked sections, and recently viewed sections. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.

Data Security

All API keys are stored server-side only. AI endpoints are rate-limited and input-sanitized. We use HTTPS encryption, security headers, and follow OWASP best practices.

Children's Privacy

KanoonHub is an educational platform suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. No registration or personal data input is required.
